About the Project
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded the Investing in Sustainability and Partnerships for Inclusive Growth and Regenerative Ecosystems “INSPIRE” Project to the Gerry Roxas Foundation on September 14, 2021. INSPIRE is a five-year project that aims to contribute to NRSG’s goal of advancing natural resource resilience, security, and governance through the increased participation and critical engagement of CSOs, media, Indigenous Peoples (IPs), local communities, and the private sector.
About the Post
The Human Resource (HR) Officer will assist the HR Manager in the implementation and monitoring of personnel policies and procedures in order to achieve the Foundation’s and the project’s objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Specifically, the HR Officer shall perform the following functions:
- Assist the HR Manager in the recruitment, selection, and placement of required INSPIRE personnel.
- Facilitate the onboarding and off-boarding of project employees.
- Conduct orientation and ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures.
- Assist the HR Manager in the following tasks:
a) Distribution and collection of annual performance review forms; Implementation of career/staff development plans; b) Review and update of HR policies and procedures; c) Planning, and d) facilitation of all GRF personnel-related activities such as training and teambuilding. - Collect and review employees’ timekeeping and leave tracking reports and prepare the summary of daily time records.
- In coordination with the GRF HR Officer, process enrollment and payment of medical and group accident insurance coverages, arrange annual physical examinations, vaccinations, and address other health benefit-related concerns.
- Organize and maintain INSPIRE project employees’ 201 files.
- Prepare monthly remittance schedules and process payment of SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig contributions and loans.
- Assist the employees in processing their SSS and Pag-ibig loans and preparing authority to deduct forms.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or any related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience as an HR Officer
- Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding performance evaluation, and training & development
- Good understanding of labor laws
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong ethical standards and demonstrated personal and professional integrity
